Earth Candles Co. was born from a passion for our environment, combined with a love for handcrafted soy candles. Handmade in Warkworth using only 100% natural soy wax, our scented soy candles are enjoyed by candle lovers throughout New Zealand.

Choosing a soy wax candle allows you to indulge in your love of beautiful fragrances released by a cheerfully glowing flame without jeopardising the environment. Ecologically and environmentally friendly, soy wax is created from an easily identifiable, and most importantly renewable and sustainable, resource; the soy plant. Paraffin wax, made in part from petroleum, not only supports the ecological damage that oil companies do to the Earth, but also releases oil based soot that dirties the air (and your walls!) as it burns. Soy wax on the other hand, burns cleanly, so that you can enjoy all of the benefits of a warm glow and rich fragrances without worrying about damaging your home or the environment. Melting at a lower temperature, soy wax will not burn you if you get it on your skin. It’s also easier to clean than paraffin wax, requiring only hot soapy water to remove it.
